Quality Assurance

CLS prides itself on the provision of world class commercial landscaping services. As part of an ongoing system of quality development and continuous improvement, CLS has been accredited to ISO 9000-2000. The implementation of ISO 9000 - 2000, in conjunction with a Total Quality Management system already in existence at CLS, has contributed to a Quality System which is customer and performance focused. All employees of CLS are involved in the Quality System and actively contribute in the process and business improvement strategies of the organization. The Quality Assurance ISO9000 - 2000 system at CLS provides for the delivery of stable and capable services which ensure that the clients needs and expectations are met at all times.

Environmental Management

A system to protect the environment; both on site and in normal company operations, is highly desirable. Protection of client provided resources and property is achieved by a management system specifically designed to address hazards to the environment. The Environmental Management System (EMS) used by CLS has been accredited to ISO 14001
We believe that CLS is one of the first landscaping companies in Australia to have an externally audited EMS.

OHS&W Policy
CLS recognise the importance of Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare. The principles of the OHSW Act are enshrined in the work practices of the company. Employee health, safety and welfare is recognised as the responsibility of Management. With this in mind, a Company OHSW policy has been developed for all employees and clients. Our OH&S policy forms can be provided on request. In line with the practice of Continuous Improvement, this policy is regularly checked and upgraded through feedback from staff, clients and external consultants. We view the policy as always active. The key elements of our OHSW approach include: regular consultation, hazard identification and risk assessment, risk management, development of safe work procedures, induction, training and instruction and review, quality supervision, monitoring and reporting
C LS has successfully completed many varied projects across a wide geographic area. Projects vary in length and complexity. Our staff are flexible and well trained. Our current OHSW policy is also flexible, reflecting the variety of work. We are diligent in identifying the potential hazards and designing controls. Any subcontractors engaged in work for the company must satisfy the requirements of our OHSW policy.
